Our Leadership
Our leadership and prayer team is made up of faithful, passionate individuals who are deeply committed to seeing God’s Kingdom advanced through Family Camps of America. Each member brings a heart for ministry, a love for families, and a desire to help others encounter God in meaningful ways. From stewarding the vision to covering every step in prayer, this team plays a vital role in laying the spiritual and practical foundation for what’s ahead. Together, we’re trusting God to do something eternal, and inviting others to be part of it.
Board of Directors

In 2002, Ken and one of the other future cofounders of Capital Research Advisors began to map out a more strategic investment company. Using their tactical models of investment management, they designed the company which, in 2003, was launched as Capital Research Advisors, LLC. Four years later, Ken took over the responsibilities of Chief Investment Officer.
In addition to his long standing dealings with the profit-driven market, Ken is also actively involved in the nonprofit world. He has served on the boards and committees of the Guggenheim/Rydex Advisory Board, Victoria’s Friends, the Student Scholarship Foundation, and the Heritage Foundation. In addition, he has ongoing interests in Compassion International, the National Association of Active Investment Managers, Camp All-American, Cumberland Counseling Centers, as well as Family Camps of America. All of these connections give Ken avenues to make contributions to the areas of life he feels are most important.
Although he is now firmly settled in Georgia, Ken has lived in various parts of the world, including the United States, Japan, Guam, and Canada.

Advisory & Prayer Team

Bob has been involved in several ministries, and he currently leads a men's ministry called Lions Den.

He married a girl from his hometown and they became parents to three daughters. They now have fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Nathan managed feedyards till 1998, when God called him into ministry. He pastored for 15 years before starting “Back Porch Ministries”. He now spends his time encouraging others in finding their identity in Christ and discovering their gifts.

This has been a long journey, and we want to honor our team, family and friends and thank them for their prayers, support and encouragement in making the vision of Family Camps of America a reality.
